The Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater Los Angeles (BOMA/GLA) is a 501c6 nonprofit organization established in 1915 to serve the advocacy, education and networking needs of commercial real estate professionals in the Greater Los Angeles area. BOMA/GLA members include building owners, property managers, asset managers, corporate and government facility managers, building service providers and other commercial real estate product or service provider.
Today BOMA/GLA is one of the largest local BOMA organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada and represents over 144 million square feet of real estate in the Greater Los Angeles area. BOMA/GLA is federated with BOMA International and BOMA California, the voices of the commercial real estate industry in Sacramento and Washington, D.C., and primary sources of information on office building development, leasing, building operating costs, energy consumption patterns, local and national building codes, legislation, occupancy statistics and technological developments.
Since 2006, BOMA/GLA has made the Building Skills Partnership a core program as detailed at BOMA’s website (link) and in its President’s letter below:
