Computer Literacy Instruction
In our 40-hour bilingual curriculum, janitors and other low-income workers learn to navigate the Internet, E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) programs. Computer labs and the BSP’s “Computer Take-Home” program give workers access to technology they would not normally have, helping to bridge the digital divide.
"I am a Silicon Valley janitor, and I only used to clean computers. Now, I can use email and the Internet, and even help my nephew with his homework."
