Our Director of Strategy and Impact, Christian Valdez, recently attended Aspen Ideas: Economy in Newark, engaging with national leaders and innovators on the conversations shaping our shared economic future.

A central theme of the convening was how to build an economy that truly works for all people—particularly workers in low-wage industries. Discussions emphasized the importance of creating quality jobs through innovative labor-management partnerships, workforce training models, and practices that advance equity and opportunity.

These insights will help inform our upcoming work at Building Skills Partnership as we continue to strengthen pathways to economic mobility and good jobs.
