Fun at Our Tamale-Making Workshop!
Hands On Fun at Our Tamale-Making Workshop! Last week, the San Diego office hosted our first tamale-making workshop, and it was a delicious success! Participants got their hands in the masa and learned how to prepare Oaxacan-style tamales wrapped in banana leaves, guided by our wonderful instructor Rosa, an ex-janitor.
It was amazing to see members come together, share traditions, and enjoy hands-on learning. Everyone left with new skills, tasty tamales, and a deeper appreciation for this cherished culinary tradition.
A big thank you to our instructor Rosa for guiding us and to everyone who joined your enthusiasm made the workshop truly special!
We can’t wait to see you at our next community gathering.
