We’re proud to share an update from one of our scholarship recipients, Yazmin Venegas! Yazmin is now in her third year at UC Berkeley, continuing to thrive both academically and personally. Here’s what she shared with us:

"My Name is Yazmin Venegas and I'm currently in my third year at UC Berkeley studying Political Science. Getting the BSP Scholarship has been a tremendous help in supporting me to buy books and other school materials needed for my classes.”

“In addition, it has also helped me buy some of my groceries since I’m currently living off campus. It's one less financial worry since my mom had to pay out of pocket for tuition and also for me since my financial aid doesn’t cover all of it. Thank you to BSP supporters for this opportunity!"
