Building Skills Partnership (BSP) joined The Future Project on Education and Learning for Longer Lives (a joint venture of the Stanford Center on Longevity x CASBS at Stanford) which convened a two-day meeting at the headquarters of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation in Washington, D.C.

Thought leaders from business, venture capital, philanthropy, organized labor and higher education came together to review a draft summary and overview of the compact, โ€œBuilding a Learning Societyโ€. The energy in the room affirmed the urgency of building an America that invests in the human talent of all our people.

Building Skills Partnership is excited to be part of this crucial dialogue on investing in human talent! We believe labor-management partnerships are powerful for building a strong human infrastructure, providing training access for workers, especially in historically underinvested low-wage industries.

Our comprehensive model extends beyond training to foster multi-generational support for workers and their families, enabling financial security and economic mobility.

BSP champions a systems change approach that empowers workers most affected by inequities to drive solutions, recognizing their expertise as essential in building a learning society that works for everyone.
